Overview

Bês-êvê Dêtîkè was founded durring the late 14th century in summer of the year 1282, by Pigeneth Glkare. The establishment of Bês-êvê Dêtîkè was somewhat plagued by a lack of willing colonists, leading to Pigeneth Glkare electing to pay people to resettle in Bês-êvê Dêtîkè.

Bês-êvê Dêtîkè was built using the conventions of Iron Elven durring the late 14th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Bês-êvê Dêtîkè is no diffrent. The village's buildings feature timber framed wooden shiethed or brick construction, which gives form to a very formalized, rational, expence effishent arcatectural style based on strictly symmetrical designs which universaly feature pitched roofs, shutters, and the occasional column or pilaster for a decorative touch.

Bês-êvê Dêtîkè is buildings are built arround a single crampt gravel mainstreet which forms a counterclockwise spiral to give the village a over all circular shape. The village has a fortified albit thin brick wall. The wall has most of the feeatures of a typical castle wall, just on a much smaller scale and and budget. Notably brick isn't a particuarly soild choice for resisting siege weapons. Bês-êvê Dêtîkè's wall wouldn't hinder a proper army, but it is more than sufishent for bandits and other small marauding groups. Bês-êvê Dêtîkè's monster and outlaw focused fortifications are in an unremarkable state. To some, this is the ideal sate for defences to be in. In need of absoutly nothing, and ready to serve the village as needed.

Even the most brief look arround Bês-êvê Dêtîkè has a good chance of putting a church or shrine into the center of your view. The village is most certainly a god fearing community. It’s also definitely a god loving community. THe streetcornors are occupied by preachers, with the occasional intersection playing host to an actually friendly debate relating to the merits of various gods. Even the less popular as well as the less politically loved gods seem to have a space in Bês-êvê Dêtîkè, there’s even shrines to gods known to the region only through hearsay.

Bês-êvê Dêtîkè's garrison was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is characterized by dynamic designs and complex architectural plan forms; intended to heighten feelings of motion and sensuality, and frequently based on the oval. It made extensive and extreme use of: Grandeur, Contrast, Curves and twists, Rich surface treatments, Gilded statuary, Bright colors, Vividly painted ceilings, Fragmented or deliberately incomplete elements, Large-scale frescoes, Dramatic central projections on an external facade, the use of plaster, stucco, or marble finishing, Illusory effects such as trompe l’oeil, and pear-shaped domes. While beloved by the nobility, the common folk tended to despise the style due to the massive consumption of resources required for even a small building constructed in this style.
